On the afternoon of 15th September, at the Lecture hall, Anqing Foreign Language School’s west campus convened the 2nd-week regular work conference for all faculty and staff.
First of all, at the conference, Principal Assistant Ling Qian expressed his work experience during these past two weeks. He emphasized that due to all staff’s solidarity as well as unity of thoughts and action, multifarious work has come to a conclusion smoothly since the beginning of the new semester, which meant that the subsequent tasks would center on the compilation and revision of ‘Anqing Foreign Language School’s Assignments’. All discipline teachers were supposed to record the detected problems in the process of using the ‘Anqing Foreign Language School’s Assignments’ for the benefit of next year’s emendation work. In the meantime, the revision lesson mode in Grade 9 was under heated discussion at the moment. Moreover, Principal Assistant Ling Qian hoped all teachers could earnestly conduct research on the teaching materials and test items to discuss and write a more effective revision lesson mode that belonged to Anqing Foreign Language School in the 9th grade.
Second of all, Deputy Director Wang Changliang proceeded specific arrangement in regard to next week’s extracurricular activities. Deputy Director Wang stressed that extracurricular activities were supposed to enable students to get appropriate relaxation after a day’s tiredness. Thus, Anqing Foreign Language School attached great importance to the implementation of this arrangement, which required all instructors to pay high attention, eliminate security risks and carry out guiding activities with plans, schedules and programs. Furthermore, by the end of this first semester, all advisers should evaluate students’ performance and demonstrate their talent, which would make this event fruitful and informative instead of just being formalistic.
Third of all, Teaching Department Director Zhang Li announced the inspection status of homework conditions in Chinese, math and English in Grade 9 during this week. Director Zhang Li mentioned that all assignments in this casual inspection conformed to the course schedule. In addition, Director Zhang Li carried through meticulous arrangements in terms of the upcoming proposition work of the monthly exams. She required that on the premise of earnestly studying the teaching materials, all teachers should seize requests in different levels of each knowledge point so as to reasonably arrange the layout of test papers.
All in all, there was connotation in education, potentiality in teaching in addition to effort in both implementation and efficiency. Therefore, we hope all teachers shall solidly and effectively make all kinds of tasks practicable as ever with the concept mentioned above.
